Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is one of the five largest public institutions in Turkey including all public institutions and ministries in terms of budget size. The Finance Directorate, which was established in 2005 as a unit of such a large family, provides long-term resources to the service of Istanbul by collaborating with national and international organizations in order to provide the investments and services that Istanbul needs.

As a Finance Directorate;

With the mission of providing financial support for all kinds of services and investments needed by a sustainable city, we have provided more than 11.6 Billion US Dollars of financing from domestic and foreign markets to date.

We continue our activities in line with the vision of being an “Leader in Local; Actor in Global Market”.

In this context, our directorate continues its work with the awareness of being a pioneer to other public institutions by ensuring the effective management of finance and the development of alternative financing sources with providing financial sustainability.
